I've been passionate about Life After Law  for several years, and I am delighted to be in a place both professionally and personally to breathe life into this project.

I graduated from Washington University School of Law in 1987. I practiced law for 12.5 years and left the practice for good to take a VP of HR role at a large insurance agency. The sad truth is, I was never particularly happy as a lawyer. Chalk the 12+ years up to me being stubborn. Even before law school graduation, I didn't feel like the profession would be a good fit. But - I gave it a real try, and eventually decided to leave the law behind.

Life After Law draws 100% of inspiration from my own personal journey. My sincere hope is to help other lawyers find a satisfying and fulfilling life that more or may not include leaving the profession.
